Abstract

Budidaya kedelai di lahan marginal memiliki produktivitas yang rendah. Salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan produktivitas lahan marginal dapat dilakukan dengan pemupukan yang menggunakan kompos dan pupuk anorganik. Jumlah kompos limbah kayu putih yang melimpah dan belum dimanfaatkan untuk budidaya kedelai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian kompos limbah kayu putih (KLKP) dan pupuk anorganik (NPK) terhadap peningkatan pertumbuhan, hasil kedelai dan serapan hara. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok, dengan perlakuan kontrol, NPK, KLKP, KLKP + ⅓ NPK, KLKP + ⅔ NPK dan KLKP + NPK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa KLKP dapat digunakan untuk mensubstitusi NPK, pada parameter hasil kedelai dan jumlah cabang. KLKP dikombinasikan dengan NPK menurunkan hasil kedelai dibandingkan KLKP dan NPK secara mandiri. Hasil kedelai berkorelasi dengan serapan N, K, jumlah polong dan berat kering brangkasan kedelai.
