Evaluasi Efikasi BiokomposTricho terhadap Intensitas Serangan Blast pada Padi IR42 di Kotadaro

Abstract
Penyakit blast (Pyricularia oryzae) menjadi kendala utama produksi padi di lahan suboptimal rawa lebak yang memerlukan penanganan ramah lingkungan. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi efikasi BiokomposTricho (mengandung Trichoderma spp.) dalam menekan serangan blast serta meningkatkan produktivitas padi varietas IR42 di Kotadaro, Ogan Ilir, Sumatera Selatan. Metode penelitian meliputi observasi lapangan terhadap gejala makroskopis dan intensitas serangan, analisis laboratorium morfologi patogen, serta pengamatan parameter pertumbuhan dan hasil ubinan. Kondisi lingkungan seperti suhu, kelembapan, pH tanah, dan kadar unsur hara makro turut diukur sebagai data pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi BiokomposTricho secara signifikan mampu menurunkan intensitas penyakit blast hingga 30% dibandingkan kontrol yang mencapai 44% pada taraf nyata 5% (P<0,05). Penggunaan BiokomposTricho juga mampu mengoptimalkan kondisi lingkungan untuk menghambat proses sporulasi. Selain menekan patogen, penggunaan biokompos dapat meningkatkan pertumbuhan vegetatif dan produktivitas tanaman yang ditunjukkan pada hasil ubinan sebesar 4,17 ton/ha atau meningkat 8,3% dibandingkan kontrol. Peningkatan ini dibarengi dengan perbaikan kesuburan tanah yang terlihat dari peningkatan kandungan unsur N, P, dan K. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa BiokomposTricho terbukti efektif sebagai agen pengendali hayati dengan menekan intensitas penyakit blast sebesar 14% secara absolut, sekaligus berperan sebagai biofertilizer yang meningkatkan hasil gabah melalui pengoptimalan komponen produksi seperti berat gabah dan jumlah bulir. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa inovasi biokompos berbasis agen antagonis sangat potensial diaplikasikan untuk pengendalian penyakit tanaman di wilayah rawa lebak.
